About Us

Understanding Our Gifted, a quarterly journal for teachers, parents, and counselors, is in its 20th year of publication.  Available as an iJournal (online), Understanding Our Gifted  is published by AppleCore Communications LLC, in conjunction with a staff of long-time experts in gifted education and personalized interaction with educators and parents.   

We offer practical strategies, advice, and information for busy parents and educators who live and work with bright children.  We are dedicated to helping gifted children reach their full potential.

Our staff is available via email or phone to respond to your questions and concerns.  We welcome feedback. 

Open Space Communications, in partnership with AppleCore Communications, presents a conference each spring for teachers, parents, and counselors, featuring a keynote presentation and a variety of speakers throughout the day.
